Popcorn, cookies and cupcakes - the stuff that every kid dreams about - but those plagued with food allergies can't indulge in. Now, your kid can binge on sweets without worries, and enjoy that sweet tooth that is an important part of childhood (as far as I'm concerned!). Divvies, a bakery in South Salem, New York, specializes in stripping all of the potential culprits from the delectables, without sacrificing any of the taste. Yum. As seen in Departures Magazine. 5 gallons of caramel corn for $60. www.divvies.com

Anyone who knows me knows that I can't talk of travel without gushing about my favorite place on earth, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, in Los Cabos, Mexico. Just like they "ruined me" with hotels, I'll never watch a DVD in the same way again....
The 6 star resort's newest amenity is another stunner (adding to an enviable list of pool butlers who spray you with Evian, serve you flavored ices, load iPods for you, and offer you first run books to enjoy while soaking up some sun, and a "Director of Romance" who ensures that love is in the air throughout your stay, on call to coordinate perfect moments (marked by the perfect song playing everywhere you go, rose petal trails, scented oils and candles, beverages, chocolates, you name it).
Now, guests can enjoy a private screening of a movie of their choice, on a flat tv on the beach, set up with torches and a comfortable couch in the sand. The exquisite backdrop of the Sea of Cortez may distract a bit from the movie, but no matter (esp. If it's the Wiggles, that your squirmy little toddler regrettably adores). The seaside screening is certain to be yet another benchmark for luxury that is not easily erased from your mind. Cinema butlers bring appetizers and drinks to your private outdoor screening as well. On second thought, get a on-staff babysitter to come to your room, and let them watch the Wiggles with your tot while you enjoy this outrageously luxe moment for yourself.

We
all can agree that moms rock. Now there's a great new online mag for
musician-moms, and (bonus!) it's rooted in a great cause. Rockermoms Rhythm is
an ezine covering food, fashion, performance gear and poetry. The newest
initiative from Rocker Moms Against Childhood Diseases (www.rockermomsacd.com), the ezine gives
important news from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society alongside lifestyle content. As they say, "If you want to laugh,
learn and see what makes us rock, check out www.rocermoms.typepad.com.

A quick word to the wise: lesson learned. Just had my second
baby and returned to the hospital where I had my first. It had apparently lost
its affiliation with a major University in the 2.5 years between kids and had
fallen into complete disarray. The nurses were not helpful, they watched me
writhe in pain for hours before finally agreeing to admit me, at which time,
they said, “it was too late for pain medication.”
Nurses complained (to me!) of budgetary cuts and their cuts
in pay. So for any second time moms out there – don’t take your first
experience at a hospital as an accurate representation of what it will be like
again. Do your research again, and make sure it is the same place it was when
you had your first.

Desperate Housewives, pshaw! Mad Housewife is where it’s at.
Not only awesome packaging but a delicious wine as well. As the Mad Housewife
says, “Wine should be fun, relaxing and something you can afford to look
forward to at the end of each and every day.” We at Babesta agree
wholeheartedly.
In Chardonnay, Cabernet, and Merlot. www.madhousewifecellars.com

If you're looking for a
kitschy way to blow 4 gs, look no further than the 14k gold and diamond Snakes
on a Plane Necklace. Designed by the actor who plays "Grace" in the
highly anticipated film, due out on August 18, the snake charm necklace is the
perfect way to support this B-movie that is already gearing up to be a
dorm-room classic. The necklace is nearly as ridiculous as the movie, which
makes it just as nearly irresistible.
$3900. www.Shopintuition.com
