Video Games Extravaganza at the Museum of the Moving Image

Might want to head out to the Museum of the Moving Image and check out “Indie Essentials: 25 Must-Play Video Games.” The interactive exhibition (read playable) of more than two dozen games that represent the “indie” scene. Museum Of The Moving Image, 36-01 35 Avenue (at 37 Street), Astoria, Queens. Opens Saturday, December 14.

Don’t be dissuaded by the report of the long lines or the cold. We are wild about polka dots here and Yayoi Kusama’s art has been on the Must Do list for a while now. (We understand, the holiday’s sometimes take over but it’s ending the 21st so you’ve got to hurry!) If you haven’t seen it, I Who Arrive in Heaven is surreal, intriguing and fantastical.
