Aww! Penguin Sweaters!

It's been a while since i've knit somthing (since the lopsided scarf I made for my husband that was the subject of ridicule for many years) but I am feeling like I have to break out the knitting needles and yarn. Apparently, the Taurunga oil spill in New Zealand left Little Blue Penguins and other of the species at risk of freezing, and a NZ based yarn store sent out an international call to the people for Penguin Sweaters to help them through. Patterns and instructions cam be found on Skeinz.com. The good news is, by the time you're done with your masterpiece, if all of the penguins are outfitted, and your sweater proves superfluous (probably each penguin only gets one) your sleeveless garment will make a great gift for a future baby shower.
