Excited for petitePARADE tomorrow and Sunday! The red carpet will be rolled out and Kids' Fashion Week(end) will begin. I'm particularly looking forward to checking out the Parsons School of Design show at 5:00 on Saturday as well as the 1:00 Bonnie Young show (her clothes are fabulous) and the 5:00 Swarovski crystal show on Sunday! This is the most exciting peek into Spring 13 –as we get to see the clothes in action! We'll report back on the "best of", some of which you'll shop on our racks come spring!

Introducing ESP No. 1 at Babesta! Super cute skinny jeans in candy coated colors! Some even with ankle zips. ESP No. 1 is the brainchild of two creatives who joined forces to make a great range of unisex basics. We're totally loving them – the pop of color is simple yet statement making and the fit is perfect.

I was reading the supplement on France in this month's Gotham magazine, and was taken by the Vaux-Le-Vicomte Chateau in France. Not only does it look extraordinary for adults to visit, they take great pains to make this an enjoyable and informative expereince for children. Kids can dress up in period costumes (available for rent) and tour the chateau, learning along the way how children of the period lived. They can also go on a treasure hunt, fence and go out on the lawn for some hoop rolling. There are riddle games along the garden paths, and even sword and mirror making classes. On Easter, they also have a grand Easter egg hunt. Amidst the grandeur of the chateau, you would be hard-pressed to find a more exceptional weekend activity for your little prince and princesses.
The costumed tours run for 90 minutes, twice a day every Sunday, and run 8 Euros plus the cost of a flight to France.

We were hard at work on a Valentine's window that we could get everyone's involvement in. We thought it would be fun to ask people what they love, both in-store and online and day by day, build our window with the help of any and all game participants – children and adults alike.
What we used:
Tools used to make the fringe curtain:
Blade (box cutter)
5 packs of Metallic tissue (3 sheets per pack)
Cut the metallic tissue, like so…
Of course you need hearts and markers as well!
Valentine's Window: Day 1
Stay tuned for a new pics added tomorrow & more things to love!
