Citibabes are coming! Fall 2005 will be the grand opening for the Soho House for the younger set. A place to learn, mingle and galavant Citibabes offers an indoor playground, lounge, cafe, classes and shop. Citibabes is clubhouse for families in chic downtown Manhattan. Founded by Tracey Frost Rensky a former banker and marketing whiz and Tara Gordon Lipton, who has a childhood education and development background and formerly taught at The Spence School, this lifestyle club "puts a fresh face on the challenge of raising children in Manhattan". There's stuff for both you and your mini-you: a full gym with personal trainers, lounge, concierge, high speed internet and meeting rooms for you and for the younger set there is a large array of classes ranging from movement and dance to music to cooking to science. Something for everyone. The 1500 square foot indoor playgroud also provides endless fun and expenditure of seemingly endless energy. There are even caregivers on-site to lend a hand and allow you a little time to slip off to the treadmill and throw on your iPod (that does NOT have the soundtrack to Elmo's World on it)....They are taking applications for "Founding Members" now.
